Uncle Paul

We recently mourned the passing of our Uncle Paul.  He was the most giving person I have ever known.  He would truly have given you his last dollar.  He was always helpful, quick to grab something for you before you even noticed that you were reaching for it.  His life was not easy, yet he was always cracking a joke.  My kids loved hanging with him.  We are comforted that he will never be tired, dependent or frustrated any more.  We are sad to be without his sense of humor, extra hand, “Oh. OK.,” selflessness, kindness, and silliness!

Papaw came home for the funeral.  The kids were so happy to be able to hang out with Papaw.  He even spent an evening and night at the house, putting up with them wallering all over him without asking for space even once!
